Welcome to the Village of Pentwater, we hope you have a lot of fun while you're here. One of the best things about the Village is the small town atmosphere. The beach and water activities are at the center of fun in Pentwater and the main streets of travel are shared by pedestrians, bicyclists, motorists and skateboarders.
When you visit we ask that you practice some quick and easy safety rules. Please review these rules at the blue "Play Safe Info" tab on this page.

Law Enforcement Agencies in Lake, Mason, and Oceana Counties have a new tool in their toolbox to help those suffering from mental health issues. Beginning in February, a new service has been available to those who struggle with mental health issues. It's called Mobile Crisis Stabilization Services or CSS. The service is available 24/7 to any person experiencing a mental health crisis regardless of insurance.
For the first time, West Michigan Community Mental Health is providing immediate crisis intervention for mental health and substance use issues. CSS staff can respond directly to family homes, schools, or emergency departments when individuals and families are in crisis and need in need of mental health services.
Trained clinical Staff will present a risk assessment and recommendations for services. Their responses are flexible and individualized. Clinical Staff will help you develop a safety and crisis plan as needed and help arrange for follow-up care.
The strategies are strengths-based and need-driven with a priority given to using community resources. If you suffer from mild to moderate mental illness or substance use call 1-800-922-2061 and ask to speak to someone from CSS, help end the stigma of mental illness today - call now and start down the road to recovery.
